Why, hello there. *G*
This week has been pretty good, actually. I've been working on fic and I've got more fic to work on. (I'm down to the cya_ficathon and summer_of_giles, and I can't wait to do both of them! So that's fantastic.)

On thursday, I went to the Zilker Botantical Gardens with katekat1010, D and thier doggie girl Domino. It was a lovely little outing, complete with old stone steps, stepping stones (which Domino, being a dog, completely ignored), and a beautiful garden. Lots of squirrels, and lots of water, too, of which Domino highly approved. My pictures are not near so lovely as katkate1010's, so I recommend going to look at her pictures. *G*

And then, last night, the Fiance and I went to a party, which was wonderful. (And I'm actually a little hung-over this morning, which is fairly rare.) We took Fluxx with us (it's a card game, in which the rules keep changing, depending on the cards you play.) and as we were playing it, N (Fiance's coworker, guy that threw the party) kept wrangling others into playing. I think he answered the question "What is that?" with "It's a card game, it's great. You'll love it. Play!" at least five times. ::laughs:: Although, whoever was new to the game, tended to win their first hand (which is neat, because Fluxx can force you to play a card that makes someone else win). After which, they all (to a person!) went, "I am so good at this game!"

*G* I guess you had to be there. Still? Very fun. Great party.

Anyway, now the Fiance has today and tomorrow off, and we get to spend time together! Yay! With all the overtime and insanity and . . . yeah, it's going to be nice to have time together.
